Our principal of Smart Money Strategies, Fredric J. Lowe, is a registered representative and offers securities through StoneX Securities, Inc. Member FINRA & SIPC. He has been an insurance producer and financial advisor for the past 47 years helping clients just like you with their financial needs. He is licensed as an insurance agent for life, accident & health, and variable contracts in Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, and Arizona. In addition he is securities licensed in Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, Texas, and Arizona.
He received his Certified Financial Planner ™ designation from the College for Financial Planning in 1988. To become a Certified Financial Planner ™, he took courses for two years and passed six exams covering investments, taxes and estate planning.
Fred grew up outside Philadelphia, went to Penn State and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1973.
Fred was the host and founder of the Smart Money Strategies radio show that aired throughout the Chicago land area from 1994-2007.
Fred has developed a specialty in working with retirees and those about to retire who want to protect their principal and insure that their money lasts. His practice focuses on helping pre-retirees and retirees avoid the most common financial mistakes. He has conducted hundreds of financial seminars to retirees. He has helped people cut their taxes by as much as 50%, potentially eliminate taxes on their social security benefits, lowering their estate taxes, and protect their estates.
